Christy holds a training certification through International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants (IAABC-ADT), following the LIMA (Least Intrusive, Minimally Aversive) philosophy, as well as a Dog Bite Prevention Certification through Doggone Safe.  Christy is also a Fear Free Certified Professional and has a passion for training and teaching cooperative care for dogs and their caretakers.

Christy holds a strong interest and passion on the preparation of rescue and breeder dogs entering their home with a realistic plan for a successful integration and thriving growth, as well as conflict management with inter household dogs, stranger danger, and reactivity displays.  Her goal is to always find and provide a resolution that is best for all involved.

Christy has been in the dog training and rescue world since 2007, providing support for foster and adoptive homes with the Northeastern Boxer Rescue through 2015. Christy has spent many volunteer hours with multiple animal shelter organizations including, PSPCA, ACCT, and Bucks County SPCA.

Prior to Christy’s full-time role working with dogs and their caretakers, she completed her college career with a degree in Criminal Justice and still enjoys delving into this field from time to time. Christy currently has 3 dogs, Kylo, Bella, and Davos – 1 cat, Nala and 2 kiddos, all of which fill in the remainder of her time in between training/coaching days.

Christy thrives on growing her knowledge through different means of continuing education (podcasts, webinars, conferences, and studies) to ensure she is always providing the best support for her clients.
